Thinking out loud

I interrupt your daily dose of Kenzie's Doodles to announce that I am considering the transition over to a new blog format. Although I'm scared that all of my customizations will disappear, or that perhaps the change will even be fatal to this little blog - it sounds like eventually Blogger will force us all to move to the new format. For those of you unfamiliar with blogs - I use the classic or oldschool blogger. Blogger has just past thorugh a beta period and introduced it's future model. Mandatory migrations are occurring now, and I was summonsed a long time ago to make the move. I threw a tantrum and thought "they can't make me!!", but it does sound like they can/will. I feel it best to do it on my own, so I can take my time .. and not add screw ups to the chaos.

So, one of the only positives to this that I can see is that it allows me to restrict the viewing of kenzie's doodles to those who are invited to see it. I do have statistics reports on this blog and I am aware that there are a lot of viewers, even though the comments don't reflect it. Some of you email me directly rather than posting comments here. I also don't publish a lot of comments, in order to protect privacy of the commenter and my family.

So, if you're "watching" and would like to be included in those that can access this blog in the future - please notify me of your email address to be added on invitation list. I'm not clear when I'll make the switch. Probably when I'm drunk, or feeling really gutsy (or maybe I'll dawdle long enough that they just do it for me)! I just don't have a good feeling that everything will switch over easy-peasy. But, I shouldn't complain about a free service, huh?

Again...if you would like to be able to view Kenzie's doodles in the future, I need to know you're there. Please leave a comment with your email address in the comments section. As stated, I MONITOR MY COMMENTS, AND I DO NOT PUBLISH ALL OF THEM. ****I WILL NOT BE PUBLISHING THE COMMENTS THAT INCLUDE YOUR PRIVATE EMAIL ADDRESSES.*** So, don't worry - it'll be between you and me. :) If you're family or friend, please let me know which email address to use. As several of you have several addresses, I don't want to select the wrong one on your behalf.

Finally, My Mamas Doodles blog will remain public when I make the switch to the new more private blog, for Kenzie's shenanigans.
