Snow buffet

A few pictures of Kenzie this morning, at the all-you-can-eat-snowbar-buffet. It's almost hard to play with her outside, she's constantly got her tongue stuck to a clump of snow.

I thought we'd make a fort, but she thought..she'd just eat it.
For all the worrying types (aka: Grandparents): we like our cement slippery and don't use de-ice products that would make the snow toxic.

I don't know what it is about the blank white canvas of snow in the back-ground, but photos in the snow always seem so lovely to me:

As for the rest of our day - we are digging deep in the imagined archive of activities to keep us busy on snowy (confined to the house) days. First thing this morning, we had a dinosaur hunt. Kenzie scoured the house with a flashlight to find the Stickie-a-saurus-Rex's. (and yes, this would have occurred before we tamed her hair for the day). Apparently, much fun can be had with 3 stickie-note dinosaurs hidden while she counts to 10...or more like 3.

And, then I should mention the ingenious idea of a game of "bowling" - that quickly turned ugly:
