She needs a fork for her knife....?
Kenzie typically speaks very clearly. But, every once in a frustrating while - I just cannot decipher what she's telling me. This morning, it took me nearly 15 minutes to figure out the following:
Mama, I need a fork for my knife. (Huh?)
Maaama, I neeeeeeed a fork for my knife. (Huh?)
{cupping her little hands by her mouth and **whispering** - which is what she does when we cannot understand her).
I. need. a. fork. for. my. knife.
So, I can slay a dragon.
Just what every Mama wants to hear, especially with our family pet laying very nearby!!! Shortly after becoming a wee bit concerned -- I realized...
Aha!!! She needs a FORT for her KNIGHT. Of course!!
This picture was taken a several few nights ago. She was only pretending to be asleep. So sweet and princessy. And quiet. :)
Today - Doug discovered a really fun resource after were asked & perplexed about what a Hippo says. A whole safari of noises can be found at: Partners in Rhyme
