A date with Daddy

On some Sundays, Doug takes Kenzie for a little date, and gives me a few hours to catch up on other Mama-stuff. This Sunday, he reported taking Kenzie out for lunch where she caught the admiration of several high school girls out to lunch with their own mother. Kenzie swooned with the attention and really cheesed it up for them.. Darling smiles, funny faces, and just general eating up the attention.

Then they hit the mall (to check out new sewing machines for me, of all things. What a man!!). In Sears, Kenzie progressed by something that caught her attention - which she promptly grabbed him by the thumb and drug him back several aisles to. A large sleepy sheep was sitting on a mattress, and she felt it necessary to visit and give him some love.

A trip to a car parts store resulted in her locating a ball, all packaged in it’s manufactured box. She kept giving the sign for “ball” (which is uniquely hers..) grabbing the ball and tossing it to the ground watching for a bounce.

In. a. box. that. clearly. doesn’t. bounce. Sounds like they had a good day, eh?
