Other Firsts...

Last night, Kenzie got her first bumble bee sting. She wiggled around grabbing at her foot, which she had apparently planted right on TOP of a bumble bee. We pulled the stinger and watched in anxiety for signs of an allergic reaction. Nothing. No screaming. Nothing. What a trooper.

There was screaming, however, involved a few days ago when Kenzie once again refused to "put her bottom ON the chair." She stood up and took a nose dive into the kitchen counter (located directly behind the chair). She left a tooth imprint on the Corian counter and after a quick check, there wasn't any blood or horribly mangled teeth. Or, so we thought. She recovered from the incident quickly and we soon forgot about it - until yesterday when I saw a very small and hardly noticeable chip on her top big tooth. Darn it...we have a chipped tooth now until it falls out several years down the road. After several calls to pediatric dentists we are watching the tooth for looseness, discoloration, or infection - but there isn't anything more to do, per their report. Only time will tell....
