Kenzie's "park"

The park (a.k.a. elaborate swing set) is finally done! (well, minus the monkey bars – but what two year old can navigate monkey bars?). Kenzie’s quite pleased, to say the least.

The park is easily visible from our breakfast nook windows, so the day is often interrupted to go right outside and play NOW. The neighbor kids are drooling over it, and I’m sure we'll have a backyard full of children monkeying around on it soon as well. Fair enough...as Kenzie whined & whined... and complained about all the visible neighboring "parks" these past few weeks. She's escaped and enjoyed a few swings/climbs courtesy of the neighbors too!

The thing is...however...that there is all this great play structure, and the kid wishes to hang out on the leg? She says “No thanks” to the swings. Go figure.
