Playing with Lions and a baby boy

Happy Birthday (yesterday) to our newest cousin, Andrew Edward! We went to visit the little guy this morning and he's just precious. It'll be nice to have a little boy mixed in with all (5) nieces.



And, in honor of little Andrew who will soon be inhabiting a Safari themed nursery:

Kenzie enjoys dress up these days. Some days she’s a princess, some days she decorates herself with Mama’s leftover tacky jewelry...others she’s a lion.

Her little tongue can’t resist he hairy texture of the soft mane.



And whenever she’s playing Mama lion, she gets her baby cub named “Lijum.” Lijum’s name is a carryover from when she incorrectly pronounced Lion. She’s got the word down now, but Lijum’s name has stuck. It’s pronounced: Li-zshum.
