Crowded Smile...

Today is a boring but noteworthy post. My baby girl met her first dentist. I was expecting back slaps and whoops of glee at how greatly we clean her teeth each night. Instead, Mr. Dentist said (with irritating and exceptionally calm snicker):

"You have an "almost" perfect child. Why didn't you build her with more space in her mouth? I can say with 100% certainty that she has a future of orthodontia."

Fabulous! The little critters teeth all touch, something that makes her similar to an 8 year old. Which means that she has little extra space in her mouth for big girl teeth...which means we'll be seeing a smile full of braces in the years to come.

Ah, well...she'll still be precious. Expensive, but precious....
