First Day

Today, was Kenzie's very first day of Preschool. She attends Tues/Thurs from 12:30-3:00. Her attitude was rather ambivalent about it all day, but venturing closer to the "I don't want to go" side. I kept reminding her of how much fun she had last Friday when we went to visit the teachers, and all the fun toys she had discovered there.





As we prepared to go - you could tell she was very worried, even from her face in all the photographs.




But, she got there without incident - I walked her to the door - and she turns around and says:
"I can DO this, Mama." And, in the door she went. She didn't even look back!






P.S. I didn't cry! But, I could still cave. :) Her "I can DO this" was nearly heartbreaking....
