A walk fit for a princess....
I have been zealously trying to upload this post for days now, and keep being defeated by Blogger. It's painfully slow to load these photos - sometimes taking hours to make a single post. Most days, I multi-task like today. I've accomplished half a pot of coffee drank, started a good book, and eluded the treadmill which I swore I'd be running on during Kenzie's nap. If this wasn't the only complete edition of Kenzie's lifebook - I'd sorely give up!!! Today, I was defeated by my own computer - after having written a long and eloquent post about this little princess - only to have "an application unexpectedly quit" message when loading a final picture! I started over...but this post lost a bit of it's whimsy in the process....
The story line is simple and repetitive:
Every morning, Kenzie picks out her clothes. Today was another princess day.
Every morning, I jog with Kenzie in the jog-stroller; we then stop at a park. All along our path, she tells me about all the sounds she hears in the tree filled area, & at the park. "Do you hear Dat???" she exclaims (cupping her hand to her ear) to the circada's, the infrequent sirens, or the too loud car/motorcycle....
....then I run some more - and then at the end of the trail, Kenzie walks herself. She inspects the greenery carefully for bugs. Sometimes we even bring a new bug friend home.
This morning (taking place last week) I brought the camera along.
