Past and Present

This past weekend, my high school girl friends and I reunited for a BBQ in our hometown. What fun it was to reaquaint myself with all these great girls.

We grew up in a teeny-tiny town together, and managed to remain friends throughout highschool & into the present. There were some times where we weren't close anymore, but I thank whomever it was that eventually brought us all back together. I've also been living in California for the past few years and wasn't able to participate in their regular get-togethers. It was really nice to come back this year and feel like I'd never even missed a minute with them.
I really wish this for Kenzie. It's just REALLY cool.

Here we are at one of our final proms of our highschool career. With big hair and loud dresses, distracted only by the boys whom served as our dates.



And today, all busy mothers and/or professionals - trying to cram in a photo before the kids run awry, (and not succeeding).



And, the kids...Look at all these beautiful kids we've created!!



I would have never imagined on the date of the highschool prom that our clan would increase at this magnitude less than 15 years later. What an accomplished group we are. These girls are strong beautiful women ~with wonderful partners~ and I'm happy to know them all.
