The Snow Maiden

Kenzie's preschool had an organized outing to Crown Center to go see a play called the snow maiden. After a rather hectic morning running about to drop Rylan off and pick up a gal pal who was coming along - we began the drive to the meeting place. And, got lost.



Kenzie and her pal were so sweet about it mentioning it was a special day "just to be with you Ms. Stacy/Mama!" I was near tears but somehow made it to the place without falling apart (or cursing) and we actually made it to the play!



Afterward, the gal pal went off with her grandparents and Kenzie and I went to lunch. I offered all the fancy Crown Center spots - but she wanted McSonic. By the way, McSonic is actually Sonic..but we've always though the error was so cute, we've never corrected her. Get it? McDonalds + Sonic = McSonic!



Anyway, it was some nice girl time without the babe in tow and Kenzie relished in the attention. The random shots were taken in the car waiting for our "fast food" which took about 25 minutes to arrive.
