Christmas

...this is Nana & Poppy's Christmas tree, which Kenzie, Andrew and I decorated this year. Kenzie's new buddy "Rex" was delivered by Santa and is a new favorite playpal.

Rylan's first Christmas was exciting for everyone. Kenzie really seemed to enjoy watching him with his gifts and we were so proud when she prioritized "giving" gifts before greedily diving into her own. As usual, she was over-spoiled this holiday. She received this amazing RV playmobile toy which was a real favorite from Aunt Lori's family. (not to mention heaps and mounds of other fun new stuff!)



With my hands full of baby - I didn't take many photos. But, hopefully, this holiday will be remembered as Rylan's first Christmas, a year we went to both grandparents' house, and the year where Kenzie truly bonded with her Papa. We missed the Cousins from Chicago who were unable to make it, but we enjoyed meeting the significant others who have joined our family through my brothers. Both grandparents put a lot of effort into making the holidays really special, as per usual. I hope it's these things that will be lasting memories... not to be overshadowed by silly family squabbles over belching.
