First Best Friends

We are fortunate to live on a cul-de-sac chock full of kids. One of our favorite families not only has a baby a few months older than Rylan - but also has a daughter six months younger than Kenzie.



Until this summer, Kenzie tended to hang with the older crowd ~ as Olivia seemed more immature than her. But, now these two have grown into a strongly bonded duo. It may be a love-hate bond on some days... but for the most part, they adore each other and can't imagine a day's play without the other.

These girls are going to cause some serious headaches! They both have an ornery streak and they both have strong wills. Olivia is more of a tantrum thrower, where Kenzie just doesn't do that. Kenzie however is sly...very, very sly in the trouble she creates. These gals learn A LOT from one another. They also learn from Olivia's older sister...



Give them a few moments and they'll push the limits of what you ever expected. And, they'll also figure out a way out of it - for instance, here they got sand in Olivia's hair {her Mom rarely gives her permission to play in our sandbox. So, here they hurriedly tried to rectify the little sand problem..}



Some days... Together, they make their parents absolutely crazy.
But, aside from that - I'm happy they have one other.
