Remember When??
Last week, I eyed our fire hydrant while sitting in the cul-de-sac with our neighbors (a nightly occurrence). Out of my mouth came: "Remember when....the fire department used to release the pressure from those when you were a kid?"
I do...I remember the fire department doing it with regularity and the kids just having a blast playing in the water as it blew from the hydrant with huge force.. But, for some reason, they don't seem to do that anymore??
So, my neighbor called and made it happen on his daughter's birthday, Friday night. The squeals of glee were heard throughout the neighborhood!!
Look at all those kids playing together. To say we live in a culturally diverse subdivision is an understatement! We just love it!

This looks like so much fun!! I'm also jealous of your neighborhood full of kids. Sadly, we only have my 2 boys in our neighborhood. The next youngest just got her driver's license and her 2 older sisters are in college (there went my babysitters too). I wish we had some more kids around to just go outside and play with.
