First Home

Some friends recently shared pictures of our old house in San Diego...or lack there of. This home is where Kenzie spent her first two years, which recently burned in the tragic San Diego fires. It's amazingly devastating to know her first house is totally gone. From the photo, I recognize that the Jeffcoat's next door, and Lisa McKimmy (two houses down) also lost their homes. This isn't new information, of course... but I wanted to post the photos for memories sake. Although it was originally reported that the whole neighborhood burned, it appears that there were indeed some survivors. How depressing it must be to have to see the empty lots each day??




I'll have to look for a better photo, but this is a picture of part of the house. This was taken before we moved in, actually.
