Kick it like Kenzie

Much to Doug's elation, Kenzie has begun her first team sport. Soccer! She has practice two times a week and will play in a 3-on-3 game each Sunday.



The concept of the program is interesting -- using a "story time with a soccer ball" approach to introducing basic soccer skills.


The program is also a supporter of our city soccer team, and will be the halftime entertainment at this weekends opening game. Dora the Explorer will be the goalie, and Kenzie will be playing her little heart out on the big soccer field (unless she gets stage fright!)


I have to say I have my heart set on her playing Volleyball, like I did. But, she already appears to be a natural out on the soccer field.
