Friends..by birth

Kenzie was born in San Diego, CA the same day as our friends birthed Mia in the Midwest. After accounting for the time change - our babies were born five minutes apart. Rob & Kim are our long-time friends, whom we've been spending a good amount of time with upon moving back to Kansas. Mia was 5 (or maybe 6) weeks early. Kenzie had to be forcibly removed from my womb, two weeks after her due date. Mia is an itsy-bitsy wee little princess of a girl. Kenzie is big for her age, and quite the little tomboy. Kenzie loves bugs. Mia hyperventilates at the mere mention of them. Kenzie would love the opportunity to take a bath in mud. Mia freaks if her mac & cheese touches her fingers.

We've got high hopes that the gals will be friends as they grow up together. Perhaps it'll be an opposites attract kind of thing?
