Skittamarinks.
Better known as shrinky-dinks.
Which are very fun for a three year old.
Lessons learned:
1. Patience. My child doesn't have any.
2. Nor do I.
3. Coloring IN THE LINES takes a LOOOOOONG time. Coloring in the lines with Crayola washable markers is a waste of time. They bleed and smudge. And then a Mama has to fine line back over the mess to make it recognizable.
4. If you sing silly songs like "skittamarinky dink, skittamarinky do. skittamarinky dinky-dink, skittamarinky do... I Loooooove You." It does not speed the process up. It only helps the child not be able to remember the REAL name of what you are making. She will then call them skittamarinks.
5. Skittamarinks get lost fast.
And, then you have to make more...
