Birthday Girl

This year your birthday fell on Easter!  Which meant it was a spectacularly fun day!  You placed your order for a blue birthday cake with a "bow" on it and I was happy to make a simple one for once!  We started the day with the Cherry Knolls Easter Egg hunt, added in some soccer and then finished the day with your "Mall Mission" birthday party!  The party was a scavenger hunt at the Streets of Southglenn chock full of fun tasks to achieve.  Your favorites of the chores were: having the group try on high heal shoes, taking a photo with a dog, finding a penny with your birth year, and trying on a crazy outfit selected by your friends.

 We thought the task of finding a penny with your birth year would be a hard one, but you gals decided to visit one of the fountains which has been turned in to a wishing well.  Jordan reached in and pulled out the first penny she saw... and it was a 2004!

 We had to take more than a few shots at the fountain and never managed one with all the girls in the air!

 Hastily putting on the outfit chosen by your friends.  We aimed to finish before the store kicked us out because you guys were really, really loud.

 And, then.. in H&M, while you were partially dressed in the above outfit, Lillian rode the escalator down and missed the exit point.  Her toe was cut up pretty badly and the fun had to end FAST.  We moved over to Mellow Mushroom for the pizza party grand finale while we waited for her mom to come assess the damage. (Yay for Superficial wounds!)

 We ate your cake and opened gifts! What a super time!
