Father Daughter Dance
Ohh. This was a big exciting day for Kenzie. I think she planned her outfit for a week! Including the corsage. THERE. HAD. TO. BE. A. CORSAGE!
The school held a father daughter dance, and the theme involved Poodle skirts. Mama whipped her up a super cute skirt, but unfortunately the "poodle" more closely resembled an opossum. ;) Never the less, Kenzie had a super great evening with her daddy which started with a dinner out with some friends, followed by dancing, of course.

Would love to see the opossum - well, the skirt actually. Nothing raises my stress-level like the sight of a sewing machine. I was *determined* to sew square cloth diapers (like the ones my Mom used on me) for my baby girl. 16 diapers over two nights took me almost 14 hours - oh my! (Baby brother got pre-sewn formed cloth diapers - yay!) Kudos to your creativity and sewing expertise!
